PlayStation 4 and 5 owners searching for Warzone 2.0 last night were unable to find the download by searching "Call of Duty Warzone" in the PlayStation Store, while Steam users who own Modern Warfare 2 found no download whatsoever.

If you're having trouble finding Warzone 2.0 on the PS Store, you will need to head to Modern Warfare 2's store page and access the context menu. There you will be met with different options, and the size of the file you need to download will be determined by whether you already have Modern Warfare 2 installed. If you're playing on Steam, Modern Warfare 2 owners should have Warzone 2.0 preloaded for them, while others should have the option to download it alone.

Call of Duty Warzone 2 hits Xbox later this week, and the team at Infinity Ward has now set the game's preload live on all platforms, well... sort of. The dev has delayed the Season 1 update which coincides with Warzone 2's launch on November 16th, but you can still download the base game and any files currently required for Warzone 2.
To download Warzone 2, you need to search for the game on Xbox and then hit the "Get" button to add it to your library. Then, select the "Manage Game" button, and you'll be provided with a list of files you can download. Keep in mind that technically, Warzone 2 is included as part of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 package.
You should now be downloading Warzone 2 on your Xbox, which is a around a 50GB download size. Just remember that Infinity Ward is also dropping the delayed Season 1 update before launch, adding all of the Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2 Season 1 content.
You can preload Warzone 2.0 on Playstation by selecting Warzone and Selecting the Download option. If you are having trouble downloading the game, try restarting your PlayStation console and try again.
To preload Warzone 2.0 on your Xbox, you need to search Warzone 02 from the Xbox Storefront and download it. The game will now start downloading to your Xbox One console. If you have an Xbox Series XS, the process is the same as the Xbox One.
To Preload Warzone 2.0 on your PC, Choose the Steam Launcher or Battle.net and select all games Activision. Then search for Warzone 02 and hit the download button. The game will now start downloading to your PC.

@Northern_munkey it ruined it for me I didn't have any interest in the battle royale mode so the fact that I had to have it installed wasting space was annoying enough but having to update the game everytime warzone has an update when it adds nothing to modern warfare but continuously seems to break something is just infuriating that's why I refuse to buy another cod aswell as Activision being a scummy company run by a scummy man if you can call him that
@Would_you_kindly i can see your point but when they made it so you could only install the bits you wanted sorted that out. I had warzone installed but i could have just the campaign or multiplayer installed if i wished without the others..never installed spec ops as i didnt like it..
@Northern_munkey that would've been fine for me if I could've uninstalled warzone but thats the only mandatory install when you first download modern warfare all your doing is downloading warzone then you have to download all the add ons after to install the game they charged people money for it's ridiculous even the icon for the game says call of duty warzone it's not a major thing but it still irks me when I payed money for it just to get their free to play game forced down my throat
@Would_you_kindly i guess we have had different experiences with this game..the only issue i had was the silly download sizes for each update and then that stupid copying over which took longer than the downloads themselves..anyway lets hope its better for those that are looking forwards to playing this..
@BartoxAbrasiveness i dont disagree with either of you. I just didnt think it ruined the game for me personally which is something i maybe should have made clearer..i really enjoyed my time with warzone but didnt enjoy the updates etc..
@Northern_munkey Even if its only 100GB why force this onto the player that does not want to play it? People pay a good amount of money and now you will force them to download a free to play part of the game. I find this insulting towards your paying customer.
@Bleachedsmiles I would've aswell but I enjoyed it when I first bought it & it was too late to get a refund once the update with warzone dropped I think they did that on purpose I know they won't but I'll be pissed when they sunset warzone 1 & leave it in modern warfare they should've made it optional years ago if they actually listened to player feedback as it's the biggest complaint on the modern warfare Reddit page

The reliable Twitter user @ALumia_Italia has once again leaked some interesting information pulled from the Xbox store, namely the download size for Warzone 2.0. If you're already tight on space, it's about to get a lot tighter, as Warzone 2.0 will allegedly take up 115.62GB of space when it releases on November 16th.
Bear in mind, if you already own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and have it installed on your console of choice, the download may not be the full 115GB. Due to the way Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 share files and assets, this could be a smaller download for those with Modern Warfare 2 already installed, but a far larger install for those without, as they would have to download the Warzone 2.0 files and the Modern Warfare 2 files necessary to play.
